Mimetic MCP server

Connect an AI assistant to your own growth data: analytics, audit findings, session recordings, and the tools to set them up.

Transport is streamable HTTP. Add it in any client that supports a remote MCP server, such as Claude, ChatGPT, or an agent using mcp-remote.

Authentication

OAuth 2.1, discovered automatically. Your client fetches /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp from this host, follows it to the authorization server at https://trymimetic.com, registers itself, and sends you through a consent screen. There is no API key to copy and nothing to paste.

PKCE is required and only S256 is accepted. Access tokens last an hour and refresh automatically. You can revoke access at any time from your Mimetic account.

Scopes

• mcp:read reads your projects, audit findings, recordings, analytics and ads data.
• mcp:write changes configuration: connecting a platform, setting a GA4 property, provisioning analytics or ads. Anything that alters an account or creates one asks for this.

What your assistant can do

• Read audit findings and session recordings for a site, and ask questions across them.
• Query Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Google Ads and the raw GA4 BigQuery export.
• Connect an existing analytics or experimentation platform with your own credentials, and read from it. Those credentials are validated, stored encrypted and bound to your account.
• Set up analytics or ads for a site that has none.

Findings are detections rather than verified defects, and recordings are consent-gated and so a partial sample. The tools say as much, so an assistant reading them does not report either as settled fact.
